At Rochester School and as an additional tool to the concepts studied in Statistics and Probability, the students develop a simulation of a Casino project in which the students create, explain and play a game of chance that involves probability variables, thus generating additional inquiries on the topic. The creation will produce a written document, a poster and a presentation that describe the game of chance. The written document, the poster and the presentation to classmates may need improvements that will be done to the 6th Grade students. During the presentation the 6th graders will practice, learn and enjoy how math is used in this real life situation.
