Last week, Prekindergarten students had their first learning presentation. For this, children prepared themselves to overcome their fear of speaking in public and to be able to present to their parents and special guests what they learned during the first academic quarter.
For this first presentation, children showed their skills in subjects such as Virtues, Castilian, Religion, Mathematics and English. In Virtues, they explained the level constitution, explaining to their guests what the agreements are and how they are applied during the classes. For Castilian, they showed their ability to link words with images, these were the animals’ constitution pictures. Regarding Religion, they classified some actions according to two types of care (personal and environmental care) and how we can preserve the environment and people around us. In mathematics, they showed their ability to count from 1 to 5, make quantity-number relations, and follow patterns like AB, ABC and ABBA. In English, they explained, with different activities, the vocabulary learned in the first two units. At the end, they self-evaluated their learning process and thanked their parents for the support given.
As preschool teachers and team, we are proud to see how our students have progressed these first two months and how they have strengthened their skills for the real world. We thank parents for their support and teamwork.

Primeras Presentaciones de Aprendizaje de Prejardín: Celebrando el Progreso y las Habilidades de los Estudiantes
El viernes 20 y sábado 21 de octubre los estudiantes de Prejardín tuvieron por primera vez su presentación de aprendizaje. Para esto, los niños se prepararon arduamente, logrando así vencer su miedo a hablar en público y poder presentar a sus papás e invitados especiales lo que aprendieron durante el primer bimestre académico.
Para esta primera presentación, los niños mostraron sus habilidades en áreas como virtudes, castellano, religión, matemáticas e inglés. En virtudes expusieron sobre la constitución de nivel, explicando a sus invitados cuáles son los acuerdos que se llevan a cabo durante las clases. En español, mostraron su habilidad de unir palabras con imágenes, estas fueron los animales de la constitución. En lo que concierne a religión, clasificaron algunas acciones según dos tipos de cuidado (el personal y ambiental) y cómo podemos preservar el medio ambiente y proteger a las personas a nuestro alrededor. En matemáticas mostraron su habilidad para contar de 1 a 5, hacer relación de número, cantidad y el seguimiento de patrones AB, ABC y ABBA. En inglés expusieron el vocabulario aprendido en las dos primeras unidades de animales salvajes y verbos básicos en el colegio con diferentes actividades. Al terminar, hicieron una autoevaluación de su proceso de aprendizaje y agradecieron a sus padres por el apoyo dado.
Como docentes y equipo de preescolar, estamos muy orgullosos de ver como nuestros estudiantes han progresado este primer bimestre y cada vez fortalecen sus habilidades para la vida y el mundo exterior. Agradecemos a los padres por el apoyo y el trabajo en equipo.
