Colombian, Global and Systemic Citizenship

In the Social Studies class of Colombian Citizenship, we work on the interpretation of the contents necessary to understand what Systemic and Global Citizenship means and the consequent development of skills that promote this expected performance, so that our students can make informed decisions and thus be successful in their daily life. In this specific activity, the Sixth Grade students worked cooperatively making a poster that they exhibited in class and to their other Middle School classmates, who pass through the second floor of Block 4, where the images of their quality world, related to the values and principles that they consider are necessary to be citizens of the world, were explicit. Before doing that, they investigated different concepts of citizenship, the history of the concept of citizenship and the importance of being a systemic citizen. It is important to highlight the recognition that they made of different values, principles, skills that are found in our THIS REAL acrostic and the Virtues and Sustainability program.

En la clase de Sociales de Ciudadanía Colombiana, se trabaja en la interpretación de contenidos necesarios para comprender lo que significa Ciudadanía sistémica y Global y el consecuente desarrollo de habilidades que fomenten esta actuación esperada, para que nuestros estudiantes puedan tomar decisiones informadas y así ser exitosos en su cotidianidad. En esta actividad, en específico, los estudiantes de Quinto Grado trabajaron de forma cooperativa haciendo un cartel que expusieron en clase y a sus demás compañeros de Escuela Media, que pasan por el segundo piso del Bloque 4, en donde quedaban explícitas las imágenes de su mundo de calidad, relacionadas con los valores y principios que ellos consideran son necesarios para ser ciudadanos del mundo. De tal manera que, ellos investigaron sobre distintos conceptos de ciudadanía, la historia del concepto de ciudadanía y la importancia de ser un ciudadano sistémico. Es importante destacar el reconocimiento que ellos mismos hicieron de distintos valores, principios, habilidades que se encuentran en nuestro acróstico de LETRICAS y el programa de Virtudes y Sostenibilidad.
