Dancing Through Emotions
The Kindergarten children worked on emotions, expressed them with their bodies, drew them, and made a booklet remembering moments of their lives.
They also sang with movement songs with fun lyrics to understand the physiology of each one, and identify emotions as a first instance in the understanding of the total behavior and in the management of self-control. They developed tools to learn to manage their own emotions and to establish in their language the concept of empathy to understand the emotions of others.
Los niños de Jardín trabajaron en torno a las emociones, las expresaron con su cuerpo, las dibujaron, e hicieron una cartilla recordando momentos de su vida.
También cantaron con movimiento canciones con letras divertidas para entender la fisiología de cada una, e identificar las emociones como una primera instancia en la comprensión del comportamiento total y en el manejo del autocontrol. Desarrollaron herramientas para aprender a gestionar sus propias emociones e instaurar en su lenguaje el concepto de empatía para comprender las de los demás.

It’s great to see children learning about emotions through movement, music, and creative activities while also developing empathy and self-control. After all that learning, Basket Random could be a fun little game for some extra playtime
