Un encuentro inolvidable con Dipacho

Tras dos meses de sumergirse en la obra de uno de los ilustradores más reconocidos de Colombia, los estudiantes de Prejardín tuvieron su esperado encuentro con nuestro autor invitado: ¡Dipacho! Ilustrador y escritor, Dipacho visitó el colegio para leer en voz alta varios de sus libros —algunos ya conocidos por los niños y otros completamente nuevos—. Gritos, risas y emoción acompañaron constantemente esta experiencia.
Además de la lectura, hubo un espacio especial para conversar. Los niños prepararon preguntas personales y profesionales que querían hacerle al autor, quien respondió cada una con dulzura, cercanía y mucho humor.
Como cierre de la visita, se vivió un intercambio artístico muy significativo: Dipacho firmó e ilustró de manera personalizada los libros adquiridos por los estudiantes y, al mismo tiempo, pudo apreciar los más de 30 retratos que los niños realizaron inspirados en él y en su obra.
Sin duda, fue una experiencia memorable que fortaleció el amor por la lectura, la ilustración y el encuentro cercano con la literatura.
An Unforgettable Encounter with Dipacho

After spending two months immersed in the work of one of Colombia’s most renowned illustrators, the Pre-K students finally met our featured author: Dipacho! Illustrator and writer, Dipacho visited the school to read aloud several of his books — some familiar to the children and others completely new. Cheers, laughter, and excitement filled the experience from beginning to end.
In addition to the readings, students had the opportunity to participate in a special conversation with the author. They prepared both personal and professional questions, which Dipacho answered with warmth, humor, and generosity.
As a meaningful conclusion to the visit, an artistic exchange took place: Dipacho personally signed and illustrated the books purchased by the students, while also taking time to admire the more than 30 portraits the children created inspired by him and his work.
Without a doubt, it was a memorable experience that strengthened students’ love for reading, illustration, and meaningful encounters with literature.
