Creative Solutions for SDG 14: Tackling Ocean Waste in CAD

From the CAD subject, a challenge was posed for the 9th grade students to solve in groups.

For the development of this challenge, a problem was posed within the framework of SDG 14 Life Below Water, related to the tons of plastics and other solid waste that are thrown daily into the ocean, so the students had to model an artifact for the collection of floating debris on the sea surface, having as only input, an articulated arm that they had previously modeled.

I would like to highlight all the results produced by the course, since each one shows originality in the solution of the challenge.

Desde la asignatura CAD, se planteó un reto que los estudiantes de grado octavo debían solucionar por grupos.

Para el desarrollo de este reto, se planteó un problema enmarcado en el ODS 14 Vida Submarina, relacionado con las toneladas de plásticos y otros residuos sólidos que son arrojados diariamente al océano, así pues, los estudiantes debían modelar un artefacto para la recolección de desechos flotantes en la superficie marina, teniendo como único insumo, un brazo articulado que ellos ya habían modelado previamente.

Queremos destacar todos los resultados que produjo el curso, ya que cada uno demuestra originalidad en la solución del reto.
