Orgullo Rochesteriano en las piscinas nacionales

Con enorme satisfacción compartimos con toda nuestra comunidad los destacados logros alcanzados por nuestros nadadores Juan Antonio Sánchez Romero y Matías Castro Rodríguez, quienes, acompañados por su entrenador, el profesor Norberto León O., representaron al Colegio Rochester en el Campeonato Nacional Interclubes Categoría Infantil, realizado en la ciudad de Ibagué del 4 al 8 de junio de 2026.

Durante esta importante competencia nacional, nuestros deportistas demostraron un sobresaliente nivel de desempeño, obteniendo un total de:

2 medallas de oro

2 medallas de plata

1 medalla de bronce

Estos resultados reflejan el compromiso, la disciplina y el esfuerzo constante que caracterizan a nuestros estudiantes deportistas, y evidencian la puesta en práctica de los cuatro pilares fundamentales de la propuesta formativa del Club Deportivo Rochester: Mejoramiento Continuo, Constancia de Propósito, Trabajo en Equipo y Salud Integral.

Este logro es el resultado de un proceso de preparación riguroso, del acompañamiento permanente de su entrenador y del apoyo incondicional de sus familias, quienes desempeñan un papel fundamental en el desarrollo deportivo de nuestros estudiantes.

Expresamos un reconocimiento especial a Juan Antonio Sánchez Romero y Matías Castro Rodríguez por su dedicación y entrega; al profesor Norberto León O. por su valiosa labor formativa; al equipo administrativo por su apoyo constante; y a los padres de familia, cuyo respaldo hace posible que nuestros deportistas alcancen metas cada vez más altas.

Felicitamos a todo el equipo de natación por dejar en alto el nombre del Colegio Rochester y por demostrar que la perseverancia y el trabajo disciplinado son el camino hacia la excelencia.

Rochester Pride in National Swimming Competition

We are proud to share with our community the outstanding achievements of our swimmers Juan Antonio Sánchez Romero and Matías Castro Rodríguez, who, accompanied by their coach, Norberto León O., represented Rochester School at the National Interclub Championship – Children’s Category, held in Ibagué from June 4 to June 8, 2026.

Throughout this important national competition, our student-athletes delivered an exceptional performance, earning a total of:

2 gold medals

2 silver medals

1 bronze medal

These results reflect the commitment, discipline, and perseverance that characterize our athletes and demonstrate the application of the four fundamental pillars of the Rochester Sports Club training program: Continuous Improvement, Constancy of Purpose, Teamwork, and Holistic Health.

This achievement is the result of dedicated preparation, the ongoing guidance of their coach, and the unwavering support of their families, who play a vital role in the athletic development of our students.

We extend our special recognition to Juan Antonio Sánchez Romero and Matías Castro Rodríguez for their dedication and determination; to Norberto León O. for his valuable mentorship; to the administrative team for their continued support; and to the parents whose commitment makes these accomplishments possible.

We congratulate the entire swimming team for representing Rochester School with excellence and for demonstrating that perseverance, discipline, and teamwork are the foundation of success.
