¡La Alegría de Leer ha Regresado al Rochester!

Con nuestras clases de Biblioteca en pleno desarrollo, queremos tomar un momento para saludar a los más grandes lectores de nuestra comunidad escolar. Con este espíritu, presentamos a nuestros Lectores del Mes.

Sebastián Chaves Tous, de Transición C, encabeza la lista, pues ya ha prestado —y leído— 12 libros del CRA. ¡Felicitaciones, Sebastián, a ti y a tu familia! Eres una inspiración para todos nosotros.

Otra lectora destacada es Nikola Chapman Kalenatic, de Tercero A, quien ha disfrutado de 11 libros del CRA este año. Niko, siempre es un placer verte cuando visitas el CRA. ¡Sigue con ese excelente trabajo!

Nuestros lectores de Jardín también brillan. María José Trujillo ya ha llevado a casa 10 libros para leer en familia, demostrando que el amor por la lectura comienza desde temprano.

Y no es solo en la biblioteca donde nuestros estudiantes se destacan —nuestros lectores digitales también están rompiendo récords. Gracias a la plataforma de lectura Raz Kids, los estudiantes de Segundo y Tercer Grado están logrando un progreso increíble. Con cientos de libros y funciones interactivas, esta aplicación les brinda incontables oportunidades para cultivar su amor por la literatura y fortalecer sus habilidades lectoras.

La clase de Segundo A de la Miss Liliana Bernal son nuestros Lectores RAZ del Mes, pues han leído la asombrosa cantidad de 314 libros juntos. ¡Felicitaciones, Miss Lili y clase!

De manera individual, queremos reconocer a:

En el Rochester sabemos que tan solo 10 minutos de lectura diaria pueden marcar una gran diferencia. Estamos felices de ver a nuestros estudiantes adoptando este hábito.

The joy of reading is back at Rochester!

With our Library classes in full swing, we’d like to take a short moment to salute the greatest of the great readers we have here at school. In this spirit, let’s have a look at our Readers of the Month.

Sebastian Chaves Tous, from First C (Transición), is leading the way, having already borrowed — and read — 12 books from the LRC. Congratulations, Sebastian, to you and your family! You’re an inspiration to us all.

Another standout reader is Nikola Chapman Kalenatic, from Fourth A (Tercero), who has enjoyed 11 LRC books this year. Niko, it’s always a pleasure to see you when you visit the LRC. Keep up the excellent work!

Our Kindergarten readers (Jardín) are also shining. María José Trujillo has already taken home 10 books to read with her family, showing that a love of reading starts early.

And it’s not just in the library where our students are excelling — our digital readers are setting records too. Thanks to the reading platform Raz Kids, students in Third and Fourth Grade (Segundo y Tercero) are making incredible progress. With hundreds of books and interactive features, the app gives them countless opportunities to grow their love of literature and sharpen their reading skills.

Miss Liliana Bernal’s Third A class are our RAZ Readers of the Month, having read a staggering 314 books together. Congratulations, Miss Lili and class!
