Orgullo Rochesteriano: logros destacados en el XI Dominican Republic International Swim Open 2026

Con enorme satisfacción compartimos con nuestra comunidad que el equipo de natación EAD, representado por cinco de nuestros deportistas, participó del 9 al 12 de abril en el XI Dominican Republic International Swim Open 2026.

Nuestros nadadores lograron destacadas actuaciones, mejorando sus tiempos, alcanzando marcas mínimas y obteniendo importantes medallas. Estos resultados les permiten proyectarse dentro del proceso de Selección Nacional, reflejando el alto nivel, la disciplina y el compromiso de nuestros atletas.

Felicitamos con orgullo a:

Juan Antonio Sánchez Romero: medalla de oro en 100 m pecho y medallas de plata en 50 m y 200 m pecho.

Leonardo Ospina Vidal: cuarto puesto en 50 m y 100 m espalda.

Emilio Jiménez Pava, Alejandro Useche Melo y Alejandro Rey Navarrete: destacada participación, logrando mejorar sus marcas personales en diferentes pruebas.

Extendemos un reconocimiento especial al entrenador Norberto León por su compromiso, dedicación y profesionalismo en la formación de nuestros nadadores.

Estos jóvenes son dignos representantes de nuestro colegio y un ejemplo de los valores que guían nuestro proyecto deportivo en las Actividades Comunitarias y el Club Rochester: trabajo en equipo, constancia de propósito, mejoramiento continuo y salud integral.

Seguimos formando deportistas que trascienden, dentro y fuera del agua.

Rochesterian pride: outstanding achievements at the XI Dominican Republic International Swim Open 2026

We are proud to share with our community that the EAD swimming team, represented by five of our athletes, participated from April 9th to 12th in the XI Dominican Republic International Swim Open 2026.

Our swimmers delivered outstanding performances, improving their times, achieving qualifying standards, and earning important medals. These results position them within the National Team selection process, reflecting their high level, discipline, and commitment.

We proudly recognize:

Juan Antonio Sánchez Romero: gold medal in the 100 m breaststroke and silver medals in the 50 m and 200 m breaststroke.

Leonardo Ospina Vidal: fourth place in the 50 m and 100 m backstroke.

Emilio Jiménez Pava, Alejandro Useche Melo, and Alejandro Rey Navarrete: outstanding participation, achieving personal bests in multiple events.

We extend special recognition to coach Norberto León for his commitment, dedication, and professionalism in the development of our swimmers.

These students are exemplary representatives of our school and embody the values that guide our sports program in Community Activities and Club Rochester: teamwork, persistence of purpose, continuous improvement, and holistic health.

We continue to develop athletes who excel both in and out of the water.
