Cuando organizamos la actividad deportiva Sports for Smiles y Titiathlón, nuestro único objetivo era unirnos como comunidad para recaudar fondos que permitieran continuar financiando cirugías para niños de escasos recursos, asegurar su rehabilitación y seguir con la reforestación del hábitat del Mono Tití Cabeciblanco, una especie en peligro de extinción.
Sin embargo, esta iniciativa trascendió fronteras: la Fundación Operación Sonrisa nos nominó para representar a Colombia en la categoría de mejor actividad deportiva en sus premios a nivel latinoamericano. ¡Y entre 15 colegios participantes, fuimos los ganadores!
Este reconocimiento nos llena de alegría y humildad, y es un reflejo del compromiso genuino de toda nuestra comunidad educativa: estudiantes, familias, docentes y colaboradores que dieron lo mejor de sí con generosidad y convicción.
Gracias a todos por demostrar que cuando actuamos con empatía y propósito, somos capaces de transformar vidas. Que este espíritu solidario siga guiando nuestros pasos, fieles al ejemplo de Jesucristo y del Papa Francisco (q. e. p. d.), para seguir siendo una comunidad que cuida y construye esperanza.
United for a Cause: The Power of Solidarity

When we organized Sports for Smiles and Titiathlon, our only goal was to come together as a community to raise funds to support surgeries for children in need, ensure their rehabilitation, and continue reforesting the habitat of the endangered cotton-top tamarin.
However, the initiative went beyond our expectations: the Operation Smile Foundation nominated us to represent Colombia in the Best Sporting Activity category at their Latin American awards—and out of 15 schools, we were the winners!
This recognition fills us with joy and humility. It belongs to all of us: students, parents, teachers, and staff who gave their time, energy, and hearts to support this meaningful cause.
Thank you all for showing that when we act with empathy and purpose, we can truly change lives. May the spirit of solidarity always thrive in our community, following the example of Jesus Christ and Pope Francis (RIP), as we continue to care and build hope for those most in need.
