One day out of nowhere, a tennis ball appeared stuck in the glass of my classroom window. For an unknown reason, it did not fall despite the rain, wind, change of weather, and a few occasional hits. Therefore, it came to my mind the idea to challenge students to write a story about this strange situation. The writing exercise would not have any grades. However, it will be a way to promote writing and understand how writing can become a skill that can help us express ourselves and be creative.
Well, that’s how I received numerous writings, of which I share with you the one made by Manuel de Freitas from 4th Grade.

Resumen:Un día apareció en la ventana de mi salón, una pelota de tenis pegada al vidrio. Por una razón desconocida, no se cayó a pesar de la lluvia, el viento, el tiempo y uno que otro golpe. Así que vino a mi mente la idea de desafiar a los estudiantes a escribir una historia sobre este fenómeno. Este ejercicio no tendría ningún tipo de calificación. Sin embargo, es una forma de promover la escritura y de comprender cómo esta se puede convertir en una habilidad que nos ayuda a expresarnos y a crear. Bueno, así fue como recibí muchos escritos, de los cuales comparto con ustedes el realizado por Manuel de Freitas de 3º Grado.
