Construyendo Sueños con Propósito, Visión y Equipo

Desde sus días en el Colegio Rochester, Juan David Muñoz Díaz —“Juancho”, como lo conocen muchos— mostró un interés genuino por el arte y la expresión creativa. Su camino comenzó en el escenario como bailarín, pero la vida lo llevó a descubrir su verdadera vocación tras bambalinas: la producción y la dirección artística. Hoy lidera MUN, una empresa de entretenimiento que transforma talentos en carreras con propósito, estrategia y estructura.

Con apenas 19 años, “Juancho” recibió su primer contrato discográfico con Sony Music gracias a un video viral que produjo junto a sus amigas, quienes más tarde formarían el grupo Ventino. Desde entonces, ha trabajado con artistas como Monsieur Periné, Juliana y Ventino, consolidándose como una figura clave en la escena musical nacional e internacional.

Uno de sus mayores logros ha sido el concierto de Juliana en el Movistar Arena, el primero protagonizado por una artista bogotana, con un SOLD OUT de 14.000 personas. A esto se suma la serie de Netflix junto a Ventino y una inolvidable visita a la Casa Blanca, donde tomaron café con el presidente Joe Biden.

Juancho resalta valores que nacieron en el colegio y hoy guían su liderazgo: la autenticidad, la disciplina, el respeto por el trabajo de los demás y el trabajo colaborativo. “Dirigir una carrera artística no es solo soñar, es planear, ejecutar y sostener. Es transformar lo intangible en algo que inspire, mueva y conecte”.

Cuando piensa en su paso por el colegio, reconoce cómo ese ambiente le permitió desarrollar pensamiento crítico, creatividad y una mirada humanista. “Los egresados del Colegio Rochester tenemos una marca muy clara: construimos con propósito”.

A los estudiantes actuales les deja un mensaje contundente:“Sueñen en grande, pero trabajen aún más grande. El talento no es suficiente si no va acompañado de estrategia, disciplina y equipo. Y si aman el arte, tómenlo en serio: háganlo con estructura, visión y responsabilidad.”

Building Dreams with Purpose, Vision, and Teamwork

Since his days at Rochester School, Juan David Muñoz Díaz — “Juancho,” as many know him — has shown a genuine interest in art and creative expression. His journey began on stage as a dancer, but life led him to discover his true calling behind the scenes: production and artistic direction. Today, he leads MUN, an entertainment company that transforms talent into careers with purpose, strategy, and structure.

At just 19 years old, “Juancho” received his first record deal with Sony Music thanks to a viral video he produced with his friends, who would later form the group Ventino. Since then, he has worked with artists such as Monsieur Periné, Juliana, and Ventino, establishing himself as a key figure in the national and international music scene.

One of his greatest achievements was Juliana's concert at the Movistar Arena, the first starring a Bogota artist, with a SOLD OUT crowd of 14,000 people. Added to this is the Netflix series with Ventino and an unforgettable visit to the White House, where they had coffee with President Joe Biden.

Juancho highlights values that were instilled in him at school and now guide his leadership: authenticity, discipline, respect for the work of others, and collaborative work. “Managing an artistic career is not just about dreaming, it's about planning, executing, and sustaining. It's about transforming the intangible into something that inspires, moves, and connects.”

When he thinks about his time at school, he recognizes how that environment allowed him to develop critical thinking, creativity, and a humanistic outlook. “We Rochester School alumni have a very clear mark: we build with purpose.”

He leaves current students with a powerful message:“Dream big, but work even bigger. Talent is not enough if it is not accompanied by strategy, discipline, and teamwork. And if you love art, take it seriously: do it with structure, vision, and responsibility.”
