¡Padres de familia y estudiantes de Rochester: tenemos una misión para ustedes!

Algo ha llegado a Rochester. Un mensaje enigmático, un código desconocido y un secreto que espera ser descubierto.

A primera vista, parecen símbolos sin sentido. Sin embargo, detrás de ellos se esconde un mensaje que solo quienes observen con atención, identifiquen patrones y conecten las pistas lograrán revelar.

¿Se atreverán a descubrir qué dice el mensaje?

Una misión para compartir en familia

*Keeping the Secret* es un reto que hace parte del Proyecto Integrado de 10.º grado y estará disponible durante la semana de receso. Invitamos especialmente a los padres de familia y a los estudiantes a aceptar esta misión, explorar el código y participar activamente en esta experiencia de aprendizaje.

El desafío consiste en descifrar el código y descubrir el mensaje oculto. Para lograrlo, será necesario observar cuidadosamente, pensar de manera lógica, identificar patrones y conectar ideas.

Esta es una oportunidad para que padres e hijos compartan un reto diferente durante las vacaciones, intercambien hipótesis y descubran juntos que, muchas veces, resolver un problema no depende de tener todas las respuestas, sino de saber hacerse las preguntas correctas.

Los estudiantes de 10.º grado serán los protagonistas de este proyecto integrado, pero la invitación también está abierta a docentes, estudiantes de otros grados y demás miembros de la comunidad Rochester que quieran poner a prueba su ingenio.

¿Qué deben hacer cuando descubran el mensaje?

Cuando crean haber encontrado la solución, envíen un correo a felipe.gonzalez@rochester.edu.co con la respuesta, escrita utilizando el mismo código secreto.

Si la respuesta es correcta, recibirán un nuevo mensaje con las instrucciones para demostrar cómo lograron descifrarlo. Porque descubrir la respuesta es solo una parte del desafío: también será importante explicar el razonamiento que los llevó a ella.

Una regla fundamental: ¡nada de inteligencia artificial!

En esta misión no está permitido utilizar herramientas de inteligencia artificial. El propósito es poner a prueba el ingenio, la capacidad de observación, el pensamiento lógico, la creatividad y la perseverancia de quienes acepten el reto.

No necesitan saberlo todo desde el comienzo. Solo necesitan curiosidad, disposición para explorar y ganas de resolver el misterio por sus propios medios.

La misión no termina al descifrar el código…

Quienes hayan logrado resolverlo serán invitados a un encuentro especial.

¿Qué ocurrirá allí? ¿Qué habrá detrás de este mensaje? ¿Qué nueva misión podría estar esperándolos?

Por ahora, solo podemos compartir una pista: descifrar el código no será el final de la misión.

Padres de familia y estudiantes, observen con atención, compartan sus ideas y anímense a participar en esta experiencia del Proyecto Integrado de 10.º grado.

A hidden message has arrived at Rochester… Can you crack the code?

Rochester families and students: We have a mission for you!

Something has arrived at Rochester. A mysterious message, an unknown code, and a secret waiting to be uncovered.

At first glance, the symbols may seem meaningless. However, hidden behind them is a message that only those who observe carefully, identify patterns, and connect the clues will be able to reveal.

Are you ready to discover what the message says?

A mission to share as a family

*Keeping the Secret* is a challenge that is part of the 11th Grade Integrated Project and will be available during the school break. We especially invite parents and students to accept this mission, explore the code, and actively participate in this learning experience.

The challenge is to crack the code and uncover the hidden message. To succeed, participants will need to observe carefully, think logically, identify patterns, and connect ideas.

This is an opportunity for parents and children to take on a different kind of challenge together during the break, exchange hypotheses, and discover that solving a problem does not always depend on having all the answers, but rather on asking the right questions.

11th Grade students will be at the heart of this integrated project, but the invitation is also open to teachers, students from other grades, and other members of the Rochester community who are ready to put their ingenuity to the test.

What should you do once you discover the message?

When you think you have found the solution, send an email to felipe.gonzalez@rochester.edu.co with your answer, written using the same secret code.

If your answer is correct, you will receive a new message with instructions on how to demonstrate the process you followed to crack the code. After all, finding the answer is only part of the challenge: explaining the reasoning behind your solution is just as important.

One essential rule: No artificial intelligence!

The use of artificial intelligence tools is not permitted for this mission. The goal is to challenge your ingenuity, observation skills, logical thinking, creativity, and perseverance.

You do not need to know everything from the start. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to explore, and the determination to solve the mystery on your own.

The mission doesn't end when you crack the code…

Those who successfully solve the mystery will be invited to a special gathering.

What will happen there? What lies behind this message? What new mission might be waiting for you?

For now, we can share just one clue: cracking the code will not be the end of the mission.

Parents and students, observe carefully, share your ideas, and take this opportunity to participate in the 11th Grade Integrated Project.
