Los estudiantes de Prekínder, después de comprender la importancia de cuidar su cuerpo como un regalo de Dios, manteniéndolo limpio y saludable, dieron un paso más en su proceso de formación integral al acercarse al concepto de salud espiritual. A través de diversas actividades pedagógicas, los niños y niñas descubrieron que esta se relaciona con el amor hacia uno mismo y hacia los demás, el reconocimiento del valor de la vida y la capacidad de agradecer por las personas y las bendiciones que los rodean.
Para favorecer la comprensión de este concepto de manera significativa y acorde con su edad, los estudiantes observaron ejemplos mediante dibujos y videos, y participaron en juegos de roles que les permitieron expresar acciones de amor, cuidado y gratitud en la vida cotidiana.
Como actividad de cierre, los niños y niñas realizaron una manualidad utilizando la técnica de punzado. Cada estudiante trabajó la silueta de un corazón en papel y, dentro de él, dibujó a las personas y situaciones por las que se siente agradecido. De esta manera, representaron de forma creativa y concreta aquello que llena su corazón de alegría, fortaleciendo su comprensión de la gratitud como parte esencial de su salud espiritual.

Pre-K students, after understanding the importance of caring for their bodies as a gift from God by keeping them clean and healthy, took another step in their holistic development by exploring the concept of spiritual health. Through a variety of learning activities, the children discovered that spiritual health is connected to loving oneself and others, recognizing the value of life, and being thankful for the people and blessings that surround them.
To support an age-appropriate and meaningful understanding of this concept, students observed examples through drawings and videos and participated in role-playing activities that allowed them to express acts of love, care, and gratitude in their daily lives.
As a closing activity, the children created a craft using a punching technique. Each student worked on the outline of a heart and, inside it, drew the people and situations they are grateful for. In this way, they creatively and concretely represented what fills their hearts with joy, strengthening their understanding of gratitude as an essential part of their spiritual health.
