Descubriendo los Números a Través del Juego en Jardín

En nuestra clase de matemáticas en el grado de Jardín, los estudiantes han estado explorando los números hasta el 15 de manera vivencial y divertida. Los niños han trabajado la asociación número–cantidad, el reconocimiento del número escrito y el trazo del numeral utilizando diferentes materiales como osos, linkers y connecting cubes en los centros de trabajo, lo que les permite manipular, comparar y trabajar cooperativamente.

Además, se han incorporado instrumentos de percusión para contar golpes y ritmos, conectando la experiencia matemática con la unidad de trabajo en la clase de inglés. De esta forma, los estudiantes no solo aprenden a identificar y escribir los números, sino que también descubren que las matemáticas están presentes en el juego, la música y las actividades de su vida diaria.

Discovering Numbers Through Play in Kinder

In our math class in Kinder, students have been exploring numbers up to 15 in a hands-on and fun way. The children have been working on number–quantity association, recognizing written numbers, and practicing numeral formation using different materials such as bears, linkers, and connecting cubes in work centers, allowing them to manipulate, compare, and work cooperatively.

In addition, percussion instruments have been incorporated to count beats and rhythms, connecting the math experience with the current unit in English class. In this way, students not only learn to identify and write numbers but also discover that math is present in games, music, and their daily activities.v
