El Ciclo Litúrgico y Jesús de Nazareth

Los estudiantes de grado cuarto desarrollaron un tema de gran relevancia, estrechamente relacionado con la vida familiar cotidiana y, de manera especial, con muchas de las celebraciones que forman parte de la cultura colombiana: el ciclo o año litúrgico.

En una primera etapa, se socializó qué es el ciclo litúrgico y cuál es su significado dentro de la tradición cristiana. Posteriormente, organizados en equipos de trabajo, los estudiantes investigaron los diferentes tiempos litúrgicos que conforman el año, profundizando en su sentido y simbología. Una vez comprendidas estas características, cada grupo estableció la relación entre cada tiempo litúrgico y una etapa específica de la vida de Jesús de Nazareth.

Este proceso permitió a los estudiantes identificar que cada celebración religiosa cuenta con símbolos y colores particulares, y que siempre está vinculada a un momento clave en la vida de Jesús. Como producto final, elaboraron una línea de tiempo en la que integraron los tiempos litúrgicos con las etapas correspondientes de la vida de Jesús, la cual fue socializada con sus compañeros, fortaleciendo así el aprendizaje colaborativo y la comprensión del sentido pedagógico y espiritual del tema.

The Liturgical Cycle and Jesus of Nazareth

Fifth-grade students explored a highly significant topic closely connected to daily family life and, in particular, to many of the celebrations observed in Colombia: the liturgical cycle, also known as the liturgical year.

In the first stage, students discussed what the liturgical cycle is and its meaning within the Christian tradition. Later, working in teams, they researched the different liturgical seasons that make up the year, focusing on their purpose and symbolism. Once they understood each season, students connected it to a specific stage in the life of Jesus of Nazareth.

This learning process enabled students to recognize that every religious celebration includes distinct symbols and colors and is always linked to a particular moment in Jesus’ life. As a final product, students created a timeline that connected each liturgical season with the corresponding stage in Jesus’ life, which they then shared with their classmates, reinforcing collaborative learning and a deeper understanding of the topic’s spiritual and educational value.
