Esta Es Mi Familia

La semana pasada, los estudiantes de Jardín participaron en una actividad significativa centrada en el tema de la familia. Aprendieron vocabulario relacionado con los miembros de la familia (mom, dad, sister, brother, baby, grandma, and grandpa) y practicaron la estructura “This is my…”. Usando fotos traídas desde casa, los estudiantes presentaron con orgullo a sus familias frente a la clase, fortaleciendo tanto sus habilidades en inglés como su sentido de amor y pertenencia.

La actividad también se conectó con la Teoría de la Elección y el Mundo de Calidad de los estudiantes, motivándolos a reflexionar sobre las personas importantes en sus vidas. Además, a través de dramatizaciones y juegos de rol en sus grupos base, los estudiantes desarrollaron creatividad, colaboración y confianza para expresarse en un segundo idioma.

Esta experiencia enriquecedora fomentó no solo el aprendizaje del idioma, sino también el crecimiento emocional y social de los estudiantes, consolidando habilidades clave para su desarrollo integral.

This Is My Family

Last week, Kindergarten students participated in a meaningful activity centered around the theme of family. They learned vocabulary related to family members (mom, dad, sister, brother, baby, grandma, and grandpa) and practiced the structure “This is my…”. Using photos brought from home, students proudly introduced their families to the class, strengthening both their English skills and their sense of love and belonging.

The activity also connected to Choice Theory and the students' Quality World, encouraging them to reflect on the important people in their lives. Additionally, through role-plays and dramatizations in their base groups, students developed creativity, collaboration, and confidence in using a second language.

This enriching experience fostered not only language development but also students’ emotional and social growth, reinforcing essential skills for their overall development.
