Golden Dance Cup: Participación de Catalina Salas, Isabella Herrera y Zoe Torres

Durante los días 4 y 5 de octubre, las estudiantes de undécimo grado Catalina Salas, Zoe Torres e Isabella Herrera representaron con orgullo al Colegio Rochester en la competencia Golden Dance Cup, participando en las categorías Solo Lyrical y Dueto Contemporáneo.
Su participación se destacó no solo por su talento técnico y artístico, sino también por el liderazgo, el compromiso y la pasión que han cultivado a lo largo de su trayectoria en el programa extracurricular Dance Team.
En esta edición de la competencia, Isabella Herrera obtuvo una sobresaliente participación al alcanzar el primer lugar en la categoría Solo Lyrical, además del Grand Championship, reconocimiento otorgado al puntaje más alto entre todas las categorías en competencia. Este logro refleja su dedicación, sensibilidad artística y excelencia interpretativa.
Por su parte, el dúo conformado por Catalina Salas y Zoe Torres obtuvo el segundo lugar en la categoría Dueto Contemporáneo, destacándose por su sincronía, fuerza escénica y madurez interpretativa, cualidades que capturaron la atención tanto del jurado como del público presente.
Estos resultados son el fruto de años de formación dentro del programa extracurricular Dance Team, un espacio que fortalece no solo las habilidades técnicas de la danza, sino también valores esenciales como el trabajo en equipo, la disciplina, la responsabilidad y la creatividad.
La participación de las tres estudiantes coincide con un momento especial de su vida escolar: su último año de bachillerato. Recientemente, compartieron parte de este proceso artístico durante la Izada de Bachillerato, realizada el pasado 18 de noviembre, donde presentaron sus coreografías ante la comunidad rochesteriana.
Estos espacios refuerzan la importancia de las actividades extracurriculares como escenarios de visibilidad, reconocimiento y crecimiento personal.
Como comunidad, sentimos un profundo orgullo al ver cómo Catalina, Zoe e Isabella culminan su paso por el colegio con logros que reflejan su pasión, compromiso y amor por la danza.Les deseamos que esta etapa final esté llena de disfrute, aprendizaje y celebración, y confiamos en que seguirán brillando en futuros escenarios, dentro y fuera del mundo artístico.

On October 4 and 5, eleventh-grade students Catalina Salas, Zoe Torres, and Isabella Herrera proudly represented Colegio Rochester at the Golden Dance Cup competition, participating in the Solo Lyrical and Contemporary Duet categories.
Their participation stood out not only for their technical and artistic talent but also for the leadership, commitment, and passion they have cultivated throughout their journey in the extracurricular Dance Team program.
In this edition of the competition, Isabella Herrera achieved an outstanding performance by earning first place in the Solo Lyrical category, as well as the Grand Championship, awarded to the highest score across all competing categories. This achievement reflects her dedication, artistic sensitivity, and interpretive excellence.
Meanwhile, the duet formed by Catalina Salas and Zoe Torres earned second place in the Contemporary Duet category, standing out for their synchronicity, stage presence, and interpretive maturity—qualities that captured the attention of both the judges and the audience.
These results are the outcome of years of training within the extracurricular Dance Team program, a space that strengthens not only technical dance skills but also essential values such as teamwork, discipline, responsibility, and creativity.
The participation of these three students coincides with a special moment in their school journey: their final year of high school. They recently shared part of this artistic process during the Senior Flag Ceremony, held on November 18, where they presented their choreographies to the Rochester community.
These spaces reinforce the importance of extracurricular activities as opportunities for visibility, recognition, and personal growth.
As a community, we feel profound pride in seeing Catalina, Zoe, and Isabella conclude their time at the school with accomplishments that reflect their passion, commitment, and love for dance.We wish them a final stage filled with joy, learning, and celebration, confident that they will continue to shine in future settings—both within and beyond the artistic world.
