Harmony and Heart: El Canto en Tercer Grado

En el currículo de música de tercer grado, dentro del eje de Lenguajes Artísticos, trabajamos en el desarrollo integral de la técnica vocal. A través de rutinas diarias de afinación, conciencia postural y ejercicios técnicos, nuestros estudiantes fortalecen las bases para convertirse en intérpretes conscientes. Este proceso no solo busca una voz sana y afinada, sino que también permite que cada niño reconozca y cuide con disciplina su instrumento natural.
Como resultado de este proceso formativo, los estudiantes participaron de manera conmovedora en la Ceremonia de la Reconciliación, como parte de su preparación para la Primera Comunión. Al interpretar un repertorio de cinco piezas para coro infantil, descubrieron que, aunque cada voz individual es valiosa, el verdadero desafío consiste en integrarse al conjunto.
Bajo la dirección de Patricia Muñetón, los estudiantes demostraron gran concentración al manejar entradas, finales expresivos y un color vocal unificado, logrando una interpretación que generó una profunda conexión espiritual con el público.
Participar en estos espacios institucionales fortalece no solo sus habilidades musicales, sino también su formación humana. Al poner su voz al servicio de la comunidad, los estudiantes experimentan la gratitud de compartir sus talentos y comprenden que el arte, más allá de la técnica, es una herramienta poderosa para el servicio y la unión de nuestra comunidad educativa.
Harmony and Heart: Singing in Fourth Grade

In the fourth-grade music curriculum, within the Artistic Languages framework, we focus on the comprehensive development of vocal technique. Through daily tuning routines, postural awareness, and technical exercises, students build the foundations needed to become mindful performers. This process not only seeks a healthy and well-pitched voice but also helps each child understand and care for their natural instrument with discipline.
As a result of this work, students delivered a moving participation during the Reconciliation Ceremony, as part of their preparation for First Communion. While performing a repertoire of five pieces for children’s choir, they discovered that although each individual voice is valuable, the real challenge lies in blending with the ensemble.
Under the direction of Patricia Muñetón, the students demonstrated strong concentration in managing cues, expressive endings, and a unified vocal color, achieving a performance that created a deep spiritual connection with the audience.
Taking part in these institutional events strengthens not only students’ musical abilities but also their personal growth. By placing their voices at the service of the community, they experience the joy of sharing their talents and recognize that art, beyond technique, is a powerful tool for service and unity within our school community.
