Nuevos talentos para Escuela Media: Bienvenida a Andrés Estrada y Adriana Pinzón

Asignaturas: Teatro y Música

El área de Educación Artística del Colegio Rochester se fortalece con la llegada de dos docentes que aportan experiencia, talento y visión renovada para enriquecer los procesos creativos de nuestros estudiantes: Andrés Estrada, en Teatro, y Adriana Pinzón, en Música.

Andrés es Maestro en Arte Dramático de la Universidad de Antioquia, con una trayectoria de más de 23 años en la escena artística. Su experiencia abarca la actuación en teatro, cine y televisión, así como la gestión cultural y la docencia en artes escénicas. Además, cuenta con una Maestría en Creación de Guiones Audiovisuales, que lo posiciona como un creador versátil y profundo. Con su experiencia, Andrés guiará a nuestros estudiantes en el camino del teatro como expresión artística, narrativa y reflexiva, fortaleciendo la creatividad y el pensamiento crítico en cada proyecto.

Adriana Pinzón – Música

Adriana es una docente de música con 15 años de experiencia en instrucción bilingüe, dirección coral y producción de audio. Ha trabajado en prestigiosas instituciones en Bogotá, dirigiendo coros en español, inglés, latín, hindi, sánscrito y mandarín, entre otros idiomas, lo que refleja su visión intercultural de la música. Su llegada al colegio representa una oportunidad para que los estudiantes fortalezcan su talento vocal, su sensibilidad artística y su capacidad de comunicarse a través de la música en diversos lenguajes y contextos.

Con la incorporación de Andrés y Adriana, el área de Educación Artística se proyecta hacia nuevas experiencias escénicas y musicales, que no solo ampliarán el repertorio académico, sino que también ofrecerán a los estudiantes la posibilidad de explorar el arte como un espacio de identidad, creatividad y conexión con el mundo.

New Talents in Middle School: Welcome to Andrés Estrada and Adriana Pinzón

The Arts Education Department at Rochester School is strengthened by the arrival of two outstanding teachers who bring experience, talent, and a renewed vision to enrich our students’ creative journeys: Andrés Estrada in Theater and Adriana Pinzón in Music.

Andrés Estrada – Theater Andrés holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dramatic Arts from the University of Antioquia and has more than 23 years of experience in the artistic field. His career spans acting in theater, film, and television, as well as cultural management and teaching in the performing arts. In addition, he earned a Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Screenwriting, which highlights his versatility and depth as a creator. With his expertise, Andrés will guide our students in discovering theater as an artistic, narrative, and reflective expression, fostering creativity and critical thinking in every project.

Adriana Pinzón – Music Adriana is a music teacher with 15 years of experience in bilingual instruction, choral direction, and audio production. She has worked in prestigious institutions in Bogotá, leading choirs in Spanish, English, Latin, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Mandarin, among other languages—an example of her intercultural approach to music. Her arrival at Rochester School offers students the opportunity to strengthen their vocal talent, artistic sensitivity, and ability to communicate through music in diverse languages and contexts.

With the incorporation of Andrés and Adriana, the Arts Education Department moves toward new theatrical and musical experiences that will not only expand the academic repertoire but will also give students the chance to explore art as a space for identity, creativity, and connection with the world.
