Pequeños Ciudadanos del Mundo: My Magic Passport en PK

En PK, la curiosidad es el motor que impulsa cada aprendizaje. A través de nuestro proyecto integrado My Magic Passport, invitamos a los estudiantes a descubrir el mundo y a dar sus primeros pasos como ciudadanos globales. Por medio de experiencias significativas, juegos, historias y actividades, abrimos una puerta para conocer diferentes países, sus culturas, tradiciones y formas de vida. Este proyecto busca despertar en los niños el asombro, el respeto y el interés por la diversidad, ayudándolos a comprender que forman parte de una comunidad mucho más grande que su entorno inmediato.

Actualmente nos embarcamos en un viaje a China, donde los estudiantes están descubriendo su increíble fauna y aprendiendo sobre animales fascinantes como el panda, el panda rojo, el pangolín y el leopardo de las nieves, entre otros. A través de diversas experiencias, también se están familiarizando con su bandera, algunas de sus tradiciones y costumbres, y nos estamos preparando con entusiasmo para la celebración del Año Nuevo Chino.

Durante este proceso, también estamos fortaleciendo una de las virtudes de nuestro colegio, la Ciudadanía Global, al enfocarnos en investigar sobre el mundo, comprender diferentes perspectivas y comunicar nuestras ideas con respeto. De esta manera, los estudiantes amplían su mirada, desarrollan el respeto por la diversidad y continúan formándose como pequeños ciudadanos del mundo.

Little Citizens of the World: My Magic Passport in PK

In PK, curiosity is the driving force behind every learning experience. Through our integrated project, My Magic Passport, we invite students to discover the world and take their first steps as global citizens. Through meaningful experiences, games, stories, and activities, we open a door for them to learn about different countries, their cultures, traditions, and ways of life. This project seeks to inspire a sense of wonder, respect, and interest in diversity, helping children understand that they are part of a community much larger than their immediate environment.

We are currently embarking on a journey to China, where students are discovering its incredible wildlife and learning about fascinating animals such as the panda, the red panda, the pangolin, and the snow leopard, among others. Through a variety of experiences, they are also becoming familiar with its flag, some of its traditions and customs, and we are enthusiastically preparing for the celebration of the Chinese New Year.

During this process, we are also strengthening one of our school’s core virtues—Global Citizenship—by focusing on investigating the world, understanding different perspectives, and communicating our ideas with respect. In this way, students broaden their worldview, develop respect for diversity, and continue growing as young citizens of the world.
